NVQs in Management

We offer Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading and Level 3 NVQ in Management.

Businesses are increasingly using work based learning to develop their managers and supervisors. The training and assessment takes place as part of the normal working day supported by a structure series of management workshops to support your managerial skills.

Qualifications are targeted at those who lead and supervise teams of people and for practising and aspiring front line managers with little or no formal qualifications.

Which NVQ is right for me?

Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Team Leading

Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading is for those who have a responsibility for the work of others, as they lead a team. It is ideal if you are entering management, or who have the ability and the opportunity to demonstrate recognisable management and leadership skills, for example, providing leadership for your team, encouraging innovation, allocating and checking work.

A typical example of units includes:

Manage your own resources
Provide team leadership
Develop working relationships
Health & Safety
Allocate and check teamwork
Resolve customer service problems.

Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Management

Level 3 NVQ in Management is for you if you are responsible for the control of activities and work output of a team. You should have the ability and the opportunity to demonstrate recognisable management and leadership skills, for example, providing leadership, planning and implementing change, managing a budget, managing a project.

A typical example of units includes:

Manage own resources and development
Provide leadership
Allocation and monitor progress and quality
Health & Safety requirements
Implement change
Develop working relationships
Recruitment and selection.
