Riverside recognises that there is a transition from school into the world of work and provides a range of services to schools to help Year 10 and 11 pupils bridge the gap towards their chosen vocation.

What can we offer?

Careers Advice and Guidance

To individuals or as presentations to groups of pupils to include the specific services of Riverside or generic overview of the post 16 choices to pupils, their pros and cons and where an apprenticeship can take you.

CV and Applications

Workshop activities to develop pupil’s CV content and presentation with supporting letters of application as a way of selling yourself on paper.

Interview Skills and Presentation

Support for individuals prior to being interviewed for a work placement or job position. We can help to tune your responses and presentation style through direct support to individuals or groups.

Employability Skills Programme

This is a 6 day programme with self study leads to a recognised Level 2 qualification in Employability Skills. The guided learning hours can be broken down into a range of delivery methods to suit the pupils and the school timetable.
