Supply Chain and Charges Policy
  1. Riverside Training is pleased to enter into discussion with a provider who can bring diversity in learning through new occupational areas or a quality training offer which complements our existing delivery.
  2. Any organisation wishing to become a sub-contractor would go through a due-diligence process prior to any sub-contract being awarded.  The form can be provided following informal discussions.
  3. In line with SFA guidance, management fee is charged to administer the contract and ensure successful claim management. It is expected that any sub-contractor monitors its own quality assurance of certification through their own awarding bodies.
  4. The management fee charged includes: on-site auditing of learner claims; quality assurance monitoring of teaching and learning; regular contract review and performance management.
  5. Management fees are in line with SFA guidance and would not exceed 15% of the contract value.
  6. Riverside Training also provides support to sub-contractors to ensure consistency of performance; opportunities to share good practice through standardisation; reporting of contract performance and success rates.
  7. Payments are made on a monthly basis through BACS following the successful payment from SFA less the management fee as published.
  8. Supply chain partners are responsible for all registration costs and any associated costs of maintaining approval with their awarding bodies.
  9. This policy is reviewed on an annual basis in March by the Senior Management Team and discussed with each subcontractor at their annual review prior to the next training year.
