Herefordshire Housing has used Riverside Training for a number of years for Business Administration, Team Leading and Management courses. In addition we have used them for bespoke courses to aid our colleagues in subjects such as Minute Taking and Note taking these have ranged from Level 2 to Level 5 qualifications.

Riverside has developed individuals to allow for succession planning, developing colleagues into team leaders and forward into managers. Currently we are releasing some managers to attend the ILM level 5 Advanced Apprenticeship programmes, which has enabled managers to develop skills that can be utilised in their roles but also fit them for higher management.

Riverside gives excellent value for money, is local and provides a monthly report on colleagues’ progress that enables managers, L&D and HR to keep track of colleagues’ progress. The assessors arrive on time and complete their assessing in the allotted time and liaise with the L&D officer when colleagues are finding the courses difficult. Herefordshire Housing will continue to use Riverside for convenience (being local), achievements and value for money.
